FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I or a Friend do Commercial Work with our Drones?

Engaging in any form of commercial drone operations mandates that the operator possesses a license. This encompasses utilizing images for advertising, sales, or any activity aimed at generating revenue, whether directly or indirectly. Conducting paid services without an FAA Part 107 license constitutes illegal operation. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in substantial fines from the FAA for both parties involved.

What quality can I expect on Photos and Videos?

Our videos are captured in stunning 4K resolution, with the Frames Per Second (FPS) tailored to achieve specific effects. As for our photos, they’re snapped at an impressive 48 megapixels.

What is the expected turnaround time for receiving my photos or videos?

ProView Drones strives to ensure that our customers receive all photos and videos promptly, ideally on the same day. In cases of high demand, delivery may extend overnight; nevertheless, our commitment remains to furnish all media within 24 hours.

How will I receive my photos or videos?

Your project will be delivered to you through a link to OneDrive, sent via email for easy access to download the files. This link grants downloading privileges from any location within the USA or globally. Rest assured, only individuals with access to the link can view or download the photos and videos. Additionally, with your consent, we may utilize certain photos to showcase our portfolio.

If downloading the files poses any challenges for you, we’re more than willing to make special arrangements to accommodate your needs.

What if my computer crashes and I lose the photos and videos taken by ProView Drones?

While we strongly advise backing up all personal computer files, rest assured, we maintain backups for all projects we undertake. Following project completion, your photos and/or videos will be securely stored on OneDrive for 90 days, allowing sufficient time for retrieval. However, should you require access after this period, a nominal $25 surcharge will apply for retrieval from our archives.

What payment methods do you accept?

At ProView Drones, we accept various payment options including Debit Card, Credit Cards, Checks, Cash, and Afterpay. Afterpay is a convenient buy now, pay later (BNPL) service that enables customers to split their payments into interest-free installments. We rely on Square for payment processing.

ProView Drones, LLC is proudly registered in the state of Florida, serving as a local business within Indian River County while extending our services to neighboring counties. We are also members of the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Are you certified as roof inspectors?

No. ProView Drones specializes in capturing high-resolution photos and videos of your roof to identify any anomalies, such as cracked Terra Cotta tiles or missing shingles. Unfortunately, we do not conduct interior inspections for leaks or humidity levels in attics. Our inspection is solely an external aerial visual assessment of your roof. Utilizing drones ensures that no one walks on your roof, and we can capture it from various angles.

While our photos and videos provide detailed visual information, we cannot definitively determine if your roof is leaking. However, they can clearly indicate if repairs are necessary, prompting you to seek assistance from a professional roofer.

What is the extent of your insurance coverage?

Our standard insurance policy provides coverage of up to $1 million in liability. Depending on the specific requirements of the project, we can adjust the policy to $2 million, $5 million, or $10 million as necessary. Rest assured, all our pilots are extensively trained and hold valid licenses under the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, a prerequisite for commercial drone operations.

We’re covered by Skywatch.ai, experts in aircraft and drone insurance.

Can your drones fly in Restricted Airspace?

Yes. At ProView Drones, we prioritize safety and compliance with FAA regulations. Obtaining authorization from the FAA is a standard part of our process, and we’re well-versed in navigating the necessary procedures. In most cases, we receive instant approvals, ensuring minimal delay in our operations. However, in more restricted airspaces, the authorization process may require additional time to ensure adherence to all regulations.

Can you drones fly anytime?

Unfortunately, flying in the rain is not feasible as our drones lack water resistance. Moreover, we refrain from flying in strong windy conditions. Our operational limit for wind gusts is approximately 25 MPH. Exceeding this threshold poses a risk of a sudden crash, potentially endangering both property and individuals. Therefore, safety remains our top priority, and we opt not to take such risks
